It took two weeks and Velma was "up and at it" after knee replacement surgery. Velma's surgery was performed by Dr. Ron Meisel. She used the X10 Knee Recovery System for her in-home recovery.

I'm very familiar with Dr. Meisel. He did my first surgery. Being in healthcare and having worked around him, seeing his work with other patients, I know that he cares about his patients. He does a fantastic job, and he believes in what he does.

He wants you to be able to to be functioning again, to get the full use of the limb, to not have any problems afterwards. That's always when your surgeon wants that for you, wants the same outcome for you that you want, that means a lot.

I first learned about the X10 through Dr. Meisel. He said this is what I'm using now with my patients. He mentioned that I'd have better range of motion with it. He thought that I would like using the machine. I was fascinated by it really. To think that here they've come up with something else you can use that was an improvement over the CPM. To me, that was a chair that you sat in, that it performed this range of motion on your knee. To me, that was fascinating. I loved it really. I really loved it. Thank you, Dr. Meisel.
