East L.A. is ready to host the annual Red Bull "King of the Rock" 1-on-1 Basketball Tournament for enthusiastic, skilled, and highly competitive ballers coming in from all over Southern California. It takes place on Saturday, August 17th, at Belvedere Park, located on Cesar Chavez Blvd. and Mednik in the very heart of the community. Included in this video is the 2012 highlight video showcasing last year's contestants as they competed in a most memorable environment on Alcatraz Island, the former federal prison, simply known as "The Rock."
